Fashion Shack 2026–2028 Seller Program

IMPORTANT INFORMATION & POLICY UPDATE

The Fashion Shack is grateful for the many sellers who allow our upscale resale shop to thrive. To maintain the high standards our customers expect, we are updating our selling program for the 2026–2028 season. ALL OLD SHACK SELLER CARDS (BPU, VIP, LIM, & EXT) WILL EXPIRE AUGUST 1, 2026. TO BE ASSIGNED A NEW SELLER CARD, WE NEED TO KEEP OVER 50% OF THE ITEMS YOU BRING IN ON A CONSISTENT BASIS. New cards are assigned based on selling history and account activity.

 

 

2026-2028 Guidelines:

SELLER STANDARDS & QUALITY

  • Curated Selection: Bring only high-quality, sellable items you have personally inspected. We look for current styles (within 2–3 years), valuable vintage, or classic items of value.

  • Condition: Items must be clean and free of stains, odors, pet hair, or damage. We do not buy scrubs and have very limited capacity for suits/formal wear.

  • Authenticity & Ownership: We do not accept counterfeit items. Only bring items belonging to you or your household; cards may not be shared with others.

  • Acceptance Rate: To maintain your card status, we require a consistent "buy rate" of over 50%. Final discretion remains with the buyer.

DROP-OFF LOGISTICS

  • Preparation: Use clean bins, laundry baskets, or shopping bags (no trash bags or boxes). Remove all hangers and layer items neatly. Separate jewelry into individual bags….Keep reading on back

  • Designer Items: High-end items may require additional processing time for on-site authentication (items never leave the premises).

  • Scheduling: Drop-offs are accepted only on your assigned days between 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. We schedule staff specifically for these windows and cannot accept unscheduled drops. Watch for posted schedule or call to check. 

PROGRAM COMPLIANCE

We reserve the right to change or revoke card status if:

  • Items consistently exceed limits or are brought on unassigned days.

  • A high volume of items are consistently rejected due to quality issues.

  • The buyer/seller relationship is determined to be inconsistent or not positive.

  • Note that we will remove sellers from active text, email, and seller list if we don’t see you in over a year
